School and government purchasing
Register for Tax-Exempt School Purchasing
Public schools and qualifying government organizations must register with Shineapple Prints before tax-exempt purchasing can be enabled on the customer account.
- The order must be placed for the approved school or government entity.
- An official purchase order, government-issued payment card, or government check may be used for verification.
- PTAs, PTOs, booster clubs, private schools, and separate nonprofit organizations may need their own exemption documentation.
- A teacher, coach, parent, or employee purchasing personally is not automatically tax-exempt.
Tax exemption is enabled only after the organization and customer account have been reviewed and approved.
Artwork authorization
Only Submit Artwork You Are Authorized to Use
Customers are responsible for ensuring they have the legal right to reproduce all submitted artwork, including business logos, school marks, team logos, mascots, trademarks, photographs, and copyrighted designs.
Shineapple Prints may request proof of authorization and reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order containing artwork that appears unauthorized or infringing.

Custom School Spirit Wear FAQ
Is there a minimum order for school shirts?
No. Orders can begin with one custom shirt. Quantity pricing may reduce the per-item price on larger orders.
Can we upload our school logo or mascot?
Yes, provided you have permission to use the artwork. Upload the highest-quality version available for the best result.
Can we order multiple shirt sizes?
Yes. Orders can include multiple available sizes and quantities for students, staff members, volunteers, and teams.
Can public schools and government organizations purchase tax-free?
Qualifying public-school and government purchases may be approved as tax-exempt after the organization registers with Shineapple Prints. Verification may include an official purchase order, government-issued payment card, government check, or other proof that the purchase is being made directly by the entity.
Are PTAs, PTOs, and booster clubs automatically tax-exempt?
No. A PTA, PTO, booster club, private school, or separate nonprofit organization may need to register independently and provide its own applicable exemption documentation.
Can a teacher or coach use a personal card for a tax-exempt order?
A personal purchase is not automatically tax-exempt. Tax-exempt treatment applies only after the approved entity and customer account have completed the required registration.
Can we reorder the same design next year?
Yes. Saved designs make it easier to order additional shirts for new staff members, returning programs, future events, or another athletic season.
Can you help with a large school order?
Yes. Submit a custom-order request when your project needs additional planning, special quantities, multiple apparel options, or design assistance.
