What Are DTF Transfers?

Direct to Film (DTF) transfers are one of the most versatile options for custom apparel printing.

  • Full-color graphics (including gradients and photo-realistic artwork)
  • Arrive ready to press — no weeding
  • Works on light & dark garments (cotton, polyester blends, and more)

Important

  • You will receive a ready-to-press heat transfer when purchasing this item.
  • What you see in the custom uploader is exactly how we will print your file.
  • We will not make alterations — what you upload is what we print.
  • No metallic, neon, glow-in-the-dark, or fog/haze effects (printed as standard colors).
  • Minor color variation may occur due to screen differences.

Steps to Order

  1. Verify your artwork is the exact size you are ordering and proper resolution.
  2. Verify your file format: PNG with a transparent background.
  3. Use the customizer to resize/preview/design your transfer (preview = print size).
  4. Confirm your cart has the correct sizes and quantities, then submit your order.

Heat Application

Temperature320° F / 160° C
PressureMedium–Firm
PeelCold Peel after first press
  1. Press for 20 seconds (medium to firm pressure).
  2. Peel carrier cold.
  3. Cover with teflon sheet and press an additional 10 seconds at 320°F.

Care Instructions

  • Machine wash cold with mild detergent
  • Do not dry clean
  • Dry low or hang dry
  • No chlorine bleach
  • Turn garment inside out

The customer is responsible for spelling, image quality/resolution, transparent or unwanted backgrounds, dimensions, colors, and other details in customer-supplied artwork. Shineapple Prints reproduces the submitted artwork as provided and is not responsible for defects already present in that artwork.

  • Temperature: 320°F / 160°C
  • Pressure: Medium–Firm
  • Peel: Cold peel after first press
  • Press 20 seconds, peel cold, then repress 10 seconds.
